General information about consular registration

Consular registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan living abroad on permanent or temporary basis, as well as registration of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan engaged in paid labor activities abroad is carried out to fully ensure the protection of their rights, legal interests and security by the state.

During consular registration or deregistration no records is made in the passports of the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan. If the citizen wishes, the consulate can issue a certificate on his inclusion or removal from the consular register.
