Procedures for applying for a visa at the Embassy
The Consular Service of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Republic of India is carried out in the building located at 41, Paschimi Marg, Vasant Vihar, New Delhi - 110057. The Embassy does not have a representative office in any other location or any other authorized institution in the territory of India.
Visa applicants must apply for visa in person at the Embassy. If the applicants participation is not possible for a good reason, the submittion can be made through authorized representative. In this case, the applicant's authorized representative must present notary approved authorisation letter and his identity document.
Documents are not accepted by post or courier company.
Office hours of the Consular Section:
Consular Section operates on Tuesday and Friday
Submission of documents: 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Collection of documents: 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Visa process generally takes from 5 to 10 working days.

Visa application portal (Note:On January 25, 2023, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan launched the "Visa application portal" (www.visaapplication.mfa.gov.az) for foreigners or stateless persons who intend to visit the Republic of Azerbaijan. Embassy accepts only new applications submitted via abovementioned portal.
Note: This portal is not designed to obtain electronic visa. Please visit www.evisa.gov.az to apply for electronic visa.
